You should definitely visit the old town of Lagos with its bright white houses and the traditional fish and farmers' market. From the harbour, boats sail past bizarre rock formations and enchanted caves located between Lagos and Albufeira. Dolphins and their offspring can also be observed off the coast. The Slide & Splash Waterslide Park, packed with countless attractions, promises slippery fun. There is a public swimming pool in Lagos with a warm water pool for the little ones and a sports pool for the adults.
The Algarve is a true golfer's paradise from November to March. Just five minutes from the villa is the 27-hole Onyria Palmares golf course with a magnificent view of the sea. There are three other golf courses in the immediate vicinity of Lagos: the Espiche Golf Club, the Penina Golf Resort and the Alamos & Morgado Golf Course.
