Information about the host
Welcome to the Alpine National Park Berchtesgaden. Our guesthouse is located in the heart of the climatic health resort Schönau am Königssee. A wonderful place in the middle of a unique landscape! Enjoy your well-deserved vacation in the EGGLERLEHEN and the fantastic view of the Watzmann and the Berchtesgaden Alps! The comfort and family atmosphere in the guesthouse or the freedom of the apartments..... create your dream vacation yourself! Relax in our newly built guest house and sunny, central location with fantastic mountain scenery! The wonderful view awakens your desire to hike every day anew! Leave your car at home! Our house is located on the footpath to the Königssee and is an ideal starting point for your wonderful excursions and extensive hikes. In only about 20 minutes walking distance you can reach the picturesque Königssee with the famous Echo and the pilgrimage church St. Bartholomä as well as the Jenner which is a popular destination for mountain hikers in summer and the biggest skiing area in the Berchtesgadener Land in winter. You can inform yourself in the Haus des Gastes with the brochures on display and find newspapers from your homeland, you can amuse yourself with lectures, films and farmer's theater. You can reach numerous restaurants, beer gardens and stores within a few minutes walk. The train station Berchtesgaden is only 2 km away and the bus connections to the excursion destinations are excellent.

Arrival Description
Take the A8 in the direction of Salzburg, leave the A8 at the Bad Reichenhall exit (VIGNETTENPFLICHT!) and follow the B20 in the direction of Berchtesgaden. After the town sign "Schönau am Königssee" look for the sign INFORMATION (i) or Rathaus. You are now in Untersteinerstrasse. The EGGLERLEHEN is located 120m out of town from the town hall (i) and you will see a large house sign on the street. At the back of the house is the parking lot and the guesthouse entrance. Welcome!
