Pure nature around the house!!! Our family-friendly guesthouse, open all year round, offers double rooms, apartment and vacation apartments for 1-4 people, comfortably furnished in rural Bavarian style. The completely quiet and sunny location is surrounded by magnificent mountain panorama an island of relaxation in every season. Our house has a good car access and its own parking lot. Make also in winter vacation with us. You will find in the immediate vicinity, about 5 minutes by car, the family ski area Hochschwarzeck with the natural toboggan run "Hirscheckblitz", cross-country ski trails, many opportunities for ski touring, always cleared winter hiking trails as well as horse-drawn carriage rides to the game feeding in the National Park Berchtesgaden. The Berchtesgadener Land, in the heart of which our guesthouse is located, is one of the most varied and diverse regions in the world. Here, sports enthusiasts and adventurers get their money's worth just as much as nature lovers and relaxation holidaymakers. Families with children love the many activities for their little ones, as do older people the healthy mountain air, the thermal baths and the rich offer of wellness and spa facilities. Hike on well-signposted hiking trails in the Berchtesgaden National Park or take a trip to the Haus der Berge, salt mine, Kehlsteinhaus, Königssee, Ramsau church or Salzburg.
About the host
We, Johanna and Helmut Stutz, purchased the Hinterponholz estate in 1992. We renovated the 600 year old house over 20 years. In addition to the existing rooms we built comfortable vacation apartments. With much love and passion we care for the well-being of our guests with our four children Christian, Andreas, Kathrin and Sofie. Enjoy the family atmosphere in our house. NOT AT HOME, but still AT HOME!

The above prices are plus spa tax of 3.10 euros for adults, 1.55 euros for children/youth from 7 to 16 years of age and 0.00 euros for children from 0 - 6 years per person and day of stay. (Subject to change)We ask our smoking guests to enjoy their cigarette outside! Pets are not allowed. Breakfast for the apartment can be booked on site: 18,-€ per person and night.

Freeway A8 Munich- Salzburg until exit Siegsdorf/Traunstein, continue on B306 direction Berchtesgaden, via Inzell, Weißbach until Unterjettenberg, from there on B305 via Gasthaus Wachterl until turn-off Taubensee/Hintersee. Turn right here. After 60 m you will find the guesthouse Hinterponholz on the right hand side.

Alles war perfekt. Sehr leckeres Frühstück. Nette Gasgeber, geben viele Freizeit und Wandertips. Ruhige und schöne Lage des Gasthauses. Eine Lademöglichkeit für E Autos vorhanden.
