Our Bergwinkl guests can charge their electric vehicles right here at the guesthouse. We offer 2 electric car charging points for the exclusive use of our guests (charges apply), along with 9 complimentary e-bike charging points.
Just a two-minute walk from the village centre, yet wonderfully peaceful, Bergwinkl is set in the beautiful Alpine resort of Reit im Winkl in the Chiemgau region of Bavaria. With such a central location, restaurants, shops and leisure activities are all within easy walking distance. Cross-country ski trails, hiking paths, traditional Bavarian theatre, village festivals, ski and hiking buses, a pushchair-friendly play trail, the outdoor swimming pool and cycling routes are all just a short stroll away. Simply leave your car behind and explore.
All our fully equipped apartments have spacious balconies with lovely mountain views. Our Hausberg one-bedroom apartment also features a bathtub — perfect for a relaxing soak. Or why not choose our especially cosy Giebelstüberl studio apartment?
If you enjoy an active holiday, you can take advantage of additional benefits offered in partnership with Reit im Winkl. As a partner guesthouse of the Benzeck ski lifts, we offer our guests access to extra benefits alongside our own amenities, including use of the Benzeck lifts in winter for a contribution of just €1.
Another lovely summer bonus is one free trip up to the beautiful Winklmoos-Alm each day.
We are also a participating accommodation provider in the Reit im Winkl Inclusive Card programme. This gives our guests access to a range of complimentary or discounted activities, including daily free admission to the Reit im Winkl outdoor pool, the Waldschwimmbad outdoor pool in Kössen, and the eastern shore and lakeside promenade bathing areas at Lake Walchsee.
Bergwinkl is heated by “Naturwärme”, Reit im Winkl’s environmentally friendly biomass district heating network. This community scheme saves around three million litres of heating oil each year, and we are pleased to play our part.

Visitor's tax per person/night throughout the year
Adults * 3.00 euros
Children and young people** 1.50 euros
Children up to the age of 6 and severely disabled persons with a degree of disability of
100% and their necessary accompanying persons are exempt from visitor's tax.
For severely disabled persons with a degree of disability of 80-99%, the visitor's tax is half the amount.

...by car coming from Munich take the Autobahn München-Salzburg (A8) to Bernau (exit 106), continue on the German Alpine Road (B 305) to Reit im Winkl (27 km), drive toward the center of town, passed the Tourist Information (May pole), turn left past Elektro Huber, then turn left again toward the direction of Ruhpolding, after approx. 20m turn right onto Unterbergstrasse, at the second possible junction turn right into Kaiserweg.
