Information about the host
Child-friendly (with children's playground) farmhouse with dairy in a central, beautiful location on the edge of the forest. Direct view of the mountains from the balcony. There are four apartments for 2 to 6 people in the house. A cosy lounge and a breakfast terrace are available. The apartments consist of one or two bedrooms and a living/bedroom.
Environment description
Ideal starting point for hikes and mountain tours directly from the house. The central location offers you countless possibilities to the most interesting excursion destinations. From the Chiemsee to the Salzkammergut, from the Zillertal to the Großglockner, from the Königssee to the Roßfeld and much more. On site: Weißbachschlucht, Gletschergarten, Aschauerklamm, Klausen and Salinen trails, 8 farmed alpine pastures.
About the host
Our farm is located in the Weißbach district of Schneizlreuth. Our farm is over 400 years old and we have had satisfied holiday guests for many years. We are a fully managed dairy farm with rabbits, dwarf goats, ducks and our cat Lilli. It is especially exciting for children to help out in the cowshed or with the hay harvest. We attach great importance to hospitality and are always happy to give our guests good tips for their tours. We would be delighted to welcome you to our Öderbauerhof.

Arrival Description
By car: Leave the A8 Munich-Salzburg motorway at the Traunstein/Siegsdorf exit and continue on the B306 towards Inzell. 5 km after Inzell, on the B 305 (German Alpine Road), you will reach the village of Weißbach a.d. Alpenstraße, municipality of Schneizlreuth.
By train: Take the train to Traunstein station and from there take the bus in the direction of Bad Reichenhall. Get off the bus in Weißbach a.d.Alpenstraße. After the petrol station turn right and after approx. 70 m turn left into Öderweg. At the end of the road turn right and after 10 m you will reach the driveway to our farm on the right hand side. If you are travelling by train, take the bus from Traunstein station directly to Weißbach a.d.Alpenstraße.

Das Haus hat wunderschöne, gemütliche Wohnungen mit Balkon.
Abends kann man schön gemütlich mit den anderen Gäste und die Gastgeber Familie vor dem Haus verweilen.
Bei schlechtem Wetter auch in dem schön eingerichteten Aufenthaltsraum.
Man darf Abends auch bei der Arbeit im Stall zuschauen.
Die Gastfreundlichkeit ist Super,
Wir können die Unterkunft in diese wunderschönen Region nur empfehlen.
