Killary Vista is situated on a coastal road only one mile from Tullycross Village; where you will find local shop, bars with traditional music and restaurants most of which serve local seafood. This detached house has been newly decorated and offers a cosy and very comfortable holiday home. From the moment you step inside you will feel at home.
Killary Vista is an ideal base for fishing, scuba-diving, hill-walking, horse-riding or touring as it is convenient to beautiful un-spoilt beaches. Renvyle is home to spectacular beaches; Lettergesh, Glassilaun and in particular the 'White Strand' which is a long expanse of white sand with stunning views across the aquamarine ocean that would rival any beach worldwide. This magical place has inspired writers and artists and draws them back again and again.
Scubadive West is less than 5 mins drive,
Connemara National Park and Kylemore Abbey is approx 15 mins drive.

This self catering home has been newly decorated and offers all modern conveniences with breathtaking views from the kitchen, living-room and the two double bedrooms. There is a large garden area to the front of the house where one can enjoy a morning coffee or a glass or 2 of wine in the evening, whilst the children have plenty of room to play. There is a travel, highchair and kids games.

The Property can sleep six comfortably.
The accommodation provides a very comfy and cosy sitting room with an open fire to enjoy in the evening after a fun filled day. There is a 3, 2 and 1 seater brown leather couch, the owner has provided board games and jigsaws for the kids to enjoy. There is a large flat screen TV with DVD player.
The open plan kitchen diner has been newly renovated to a beautiful fresh grey fully fitted kitchen providing all modern appliances including, dishwasher, microwave, electric oven and hob. There is a dining table seating 6 and stunning views from the sink of sea and mountain views.
Bedroom 1: A double bed with fitted wardrobes, window to the front overlooking the garden and panoramic views over the sea and islands. There is an ensuite shower room.
Bedroom 2: Offers a double room with 2 single beds, there are fitted wardrobes with a sink, vanity unit. Stunning views over the sea and islands.
Bedroom 3: A double room with 2 single beds, free standing wardrobe, views to the back of the house.

The house has oil-fired central heating, large private parking and bed linen is supplied. Please note towels are not supplied in this property.

Kylemore Abbey
Irelands most visited tourist attraction - Set in the dramatic Connemara landscape, Kylemore Abbey is the no. 1 "must-see" attraction in the west of Ireland. The castle was originally built by Mitchell Henry in 1867 as a romantic gift for his beloved wife. In 1920 the Benedictine Community came to Kylemore and Kylemore castle became Kylemore Abbey. The 1000 Kylemore estate is steeped in history with tales of tragedy and romance, engineering initiatives, model farms, royal visits, spirituality and education.
Visit the estate and experience the Victorian atmosphere of the restored rooms of the Abbey, miniature Gothic Church and Head Gardener's House. There are many nature trails, woodland and lakeshore walks and a children's play trail waiting to be discovered. Explore the magical 6 acre Victorian walled garden where onyx Victorian verities of flowers and vegetables are grown.
Vegetables and herbs from the garden are used in the restaurant which offers traditional home cooked food made to the recipes perfected by the Benedictine nuns. The tea house by the walled garden is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the breathtaking views over the Connemara National Park. Open 7 days a week, all year.
Connemara National Park
The Diamond Hill Trail in the Connemara National Park is well sign-posted and highly accessible walkway for families, and those who make it to the top are rewarded with expansive panoramic vistas across Connemara.There are four trails in Connemara National Park. A must when you visit Connemara. There is also a lovely coffee shop and great playground for the kids.
Killary Adventure Centre
For the energetic holiday maker Killary Adventure Centre offers a programme of adventure sports to test your skill and endurance. Activities on offer include rock climbing, abseiling, hill walking, bungee jumps, orienteering, archery, kayaking, sailing, wind-surfing and water-skiing.
Scuba Dive West
Scuba West is Ireland’s most perfectly located dive centre with diving guaranteed all year round. Scubadive West is a fully-accredited PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) school and provides activities and courses for both beginners and more advanced divers.
Real Adventure
Read Adventures provide a wide range of fun outdoor activities in Connemara. Choose from coasteering, kayaking, surfing, rock climbing or hill walking. Training is provided in mountain skills and navigation, lead climbing, white water kayaking
Killary Cruises
No visit to Connemara would be complete without a visit to Killary Fjord. The nine-mile-long inlet boasts some of the finest scenery in the West of Ireland, and because of its sheltered nature, its waters are always calm. The purpose-built cruise ship run by Killary Cruises, which can accommodate up to 150 passengers, has been designed to offer the maximum of comfort and safety to the guests, and also to offer them uninterrupted views of the spectacular scenery which makes Killary Harbour such a unique place to visit.
Connemara Loop
Connemara Loop allows you to discover the many hidden gems throughout North West Connemara. From villages to valleys and quite mountains down to the coast, the Connemara Loop route trip takes you on a journey through the heart of North West Connemara.
Start your journey by bike, car or by foot (for the brave) at Letterfrack and head for the village of Tully. You will see some of the finest beaches in Connemara, Lettergesh , Glassilaun Beaches and more. Continue on your journey to the picturesque village of Leenane which lies on ‘Killary Fjord’ the largest fjord in Ireland. For further photo opportunities continue on from Leenane to Maam Cross, then Recess to the Inagh Valley, on to Kylemore and then back to Letterfrack village.
Drive along the R340 which skirts the coastline and offers spectacular views out to sea and inland to the mountains. You’ll pass the villages of Carna, Toombeola and Ballinahinch before arriving at Roundstone, where you can visit Roundstone Music & Crafts, a traditional instrument workshop where you can see bodhráns, traditional goat-skin drums, being made. Roundstone also has a pristine white sand beach at Gurteen Bay, a great spot for swimming.
Diamonds Equestrian Centre (Tully)
This Riding Centre has something to offer both the novice and the accomplished rider. They provide highly qualified, experienced staff, well schooled horses and ponies, and provide a wide range of treks. The centre offers 1 hour, 2 hour and ½ day rides through rugged, yet breathtaking, Connemara landscape, beach, mountain and turf terrain. Picnic lunch rides are also available.
